Who I am

About Me - Sarah Peters

I am a specialist education needs support worker based in Sheffield. I have gained invaluable experience over three decades working with children, educational providers and specialist support teams. Throughout my career I have completed a wealth of courses ranging from a BTEC level 2 in Play Therapy, child mental health courses, counselling, anger management, and bereavement and loss therapy. My passion is addressing behaviour and emotional needs. I often receive referrals from education psychologists and special educational needs co-ordinators.

I have worked with multiple educational and support agencies. I liaise across these to provide a flexible response to a child’s needs. This includes Sheffield leaning support service, school’s behaviour attendance provision (Nottinghamshire), social care and directly with schools across the region.

I hold an Enhanced Discloser and Barring Service (DBS) certificate.
